Planning For The Future

Where a young person has a high level of support needs it is important to start planning for their future at an early stage. Our advisers can become involved from the Year 9 Transitional Review to help start with this process. We then continue to work in partnership with families, young people and other professionals up to the age of 25.

We can support you in different ways to help make decisions about the future.

There is a range of options available to young people, including some specialist options for young people with high-level support needs. Options may include Post 16 learning in schools, college courses, training, work experience, voluntary and jobs.

All these options can be explored in more detail with our career advisers. You will have a chance to talk to an adviser at Annual Reviews, Parent Events and Market Place Events.
