What age do I need to be to volunteer with Sheffield Futures?

Our volunteers are all 16 or over.

How do I apply?

Our volunteers are all 16 or over.

What happens after I’ve applied?

When we have your application, we’ll arrange a time to discuss our opportunities with you in more detail.

All Sheffield Futures’ volunteers who support Youth Clubs or our Wellbeing Café are required to complete pre-volunteer checks including an acceptable enhanced DBS certificate for volunteering with children and adults (which is repeated after three years) and appropriate references.

Depending on the type of opportunity, volunteers may also need to complete some relevant training before starting with us.

An observation may also be required during the first volunteer session to ensure that both you and Sheffield Futures are happy to move forward with the volunteering opportunity.
