We were delighted to host the annual Lord Mayors Dinner on 15th March at The Silver Plate Restaurant. The dinner hosted by our ambassador BBC Radio Sheffield’s Paulette Edwards, raised an incredible £2425 in funds that will go towards the redevelopment of ground floor at Star House for our new health and wellbeing service for young people, Door43.

‘We are so thankful to all of our sponsors and supporters including our main sponsor Irwin Mitchell, Henry Boot, GB Boxing, Sheffield BID, Andrea Gillard Designs as well as SIV, Shift Media, Pet – Xi and B&B Press.’ Says Gail Gibbons.

‘Thank you for helping us to continue our provision of specialist support to the young people in Sheffield who need it most.’

Speaking at the event Lord Mayor Councillor Anne Murphy said, ‘Sheffield Futures is a charity close to my heart as it provides such a broad range of essential support to children and young people in Sheffield.’

“Sheffield Futures offers safe spaces for young people at youth clubs and specialist one to one support for those at risk or in need, as well as the provision of opportunities for support into education and employment and making sure our youth voice is heard. Sheffield Futures provides essential services for our young people, worthy of the community’s charitable support.”
