To work at a welcoming and vibrant school, located in Dinnington, S25.  Will work with students who experience barriers to learning. These barriers relate principally to any combination of learning difficulties, behaviour difficulties, social and emotional difficulties and disabilities.  Will work principally alongside teachers in mainstream classrooms, supporting the learning and ensuring the progress of all students.

Requirements: Minimum GCSE grade 4/C or above in maths and English; Literate and numerate; Voluntary/work experience of working with children; Good communication skills; Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team; Empathy with students with special educational needs; Able to respect confidentiality; A commitment to the philosophy of inclusion.

Training: Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.  The learning provider is Interserve Learning and Employment.

Hours: 32.5 hours/week.

Pay: £134.88/week.
