To work at a nursery located in Dronfield (S18) provides care for children from 3 months to 5 years.  Your main responsibilities will include:

–  Deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children at the nursery.

– Will be actively involved in the child’s development and care.

– Engage in a professional manner with parents/carers.

– Engage with your colleagues in a professional manner.

– Complete all academic aspects of your apprenticeship.

– Ensure the nursery and rooms you work in are safe and secure for children.


Requirements:  4 – 9 (A*-C) grade GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and maths would be a distinct advantage.  Written and verbal communication skills.  Caring and friendly personality.  Must enjoy working with children and have good customer service skills.  Hardworking, reliable and willing to learn. Committed, enthusiastic and passionate.  Punctual, keen to succeed and confident.  Must have good team working skills. Must be able to get to and from the nursery in Dronfield.  The successful candidate will be required to complete a full DBS check.


Training:  Level 2 Children and Young People’s Workforce Apprenticeship. The learning provider is Interserve Learning and Employment.


Hours:  37.5 hours/week.


Pay:  £138.75/week.
