To work at an established salon, located in Aston (Sheffield S26).   As a Hairdressing Apprentice your duties will include:

– Shampooing and conditioning hair.

– Preparing hair and clients for their stylist.

– Meeting and greeting clients in a professional manner.

– Booking and confirming appointments.

– Taking cash and card payments.

– Making refreshments.

– Assisting colleagues.

– General housekeeping.

– Basic cuts and basic colours.


Requirements: English and maths GCSE at grade 3 – 9 or equivalent if possible, however these grades are not essential if you have the right attitude to learn and work hard.  Organised, creative and passionate about a career in hairdressing.  Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Reliable, keen to learn and develop. Must be well presented.


Training: Hairdressing apprenticeship programme delivered through Interserve Learning & Employment.


Hours: 40 hours/week. Monday to Saturday. Shifts to be confirmed by the employer.


Pay: £148/week.
