An exciting opportunity to join has arisen to join the Claims Team of a company located in Sheffield 1.

Duties will include:

– Using phone and email communication to acquire, retain and support customers during their claims application process.

– Making outbound calls to follow up customer enquiries and feedback.

– Providing excellent customer service and building rapport to maintain the company’s reputation as a trusted and professional company.

– Be able to take on board feedback and coaching, in order to develop your skills.

– Thrive in a targeted environment, meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets.

– Ensure accurate and timely data input into the appropriate systems across all elements of customer contact.

– Explaining processes and procedures effectively to customers.

– Complying with all rules and regulations according the company and customer to ensure safe and effective communication.

In the longer term there may be the opportunity to progress to a Team Leader role.


Requirements:  A minimum of 5 GCSEs at C and above, or equivalent, including maths, English and ICT;  Self motivated with a positive, confident and determined approach;  Should know your own career aspirations and actively work to achieve goals; Must have the ability to develop self; Excellent communication skills required;  Able to pay attention to detail; Able to use Microsoft applications as necessary for role; Ability and flexibility to adapt as and when needed; Must have a high degree of self-motivation and ambition; Must have the skills to work both independently and as part of a team; Should have the capability to flourish in a competitive environment and be able to prioritise and multi-task.


Training:  The Apprentice will work towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner.  The learning provider is 3aaa.


Hours:  Monday – Thursday, between 10am – 8pm and Friday 9am – 5pm.  37.5 hours/week.


Pay:  £131.25/week (based on £3.50/hour over 37.5 hours/week).
