A modern hairdressing salon is seeking two hardworking and motivated individuals to work in a unisex salon, located in the Crystal Peaks area, Sheffield 20.

Key tasks will be to greet and meet clients, assist the stylists, reception duties including answering the phone and making client appointments. General housekeeping throughout the day to make sure the salon is always welcoming to the client. Practical skills such as shampooing, rinsing off colours, conditioning treatments, blow drying and eventually colouring, mixing colours and cutting will be incorporated into the training sessions and as part of the induction training period as well as on going throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.

 

Requirements:   No qualifications are required but 5 GCSE grades A-C (4-9) or equivalent could be beneficial.   Creative flair with an eye for detail.  Pleasant personality with the ability to communicate with clients in a professional but friendly manner.  Excellent time keeping, punctual and reliable.  Able to work as part of a team.

 

Training:  Hairdressing Apprenticeship.  The expected duration is 22 months.  The learning provider is Wildes Education.

 

Hours:  30 hours+/week.

 

Pay:  £3.90/hour.
