You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in mental health, youth work, social care or related discipline and will be able to apply evidence based theoretical models and approaches to working with young people. You will blend a youth work skill set and practical support with therapeutic skills such as solution focused motivational interviewing and/or cognitive behavioural informed interventions to effectively support and empower the young person towards independence and improved wellbeing.
