To work for an all in-one-utility solutions company, based in Sheffield 3. Due to their continued development, the employer is seeking an IT enthusiast to join their team as the next Apprentice. Working in a small team of technicians on Sheffield Business Park, you would be fully supported by the Head of IT Services who has plenty of experience mentoring apprentices.

 

Duties include:

– Internal IT support for staff who are onsite and working remotely.

– Supporting the technical team.

– Handling customer support IT enquiries.

– Provide Hardware support for PCs, laptops, mobiles and printers.

– Setting up new users on the network.

– Installing and updating software.

– Basic networking such as moving ports.

 

Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.

 

Requirements: GCSE maths and English at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.  Interest in and experience of working with PCs.  Keen interest in a career in the IT sector.  Good communication skills and able to use own initiative.  Problem solving skills and a positive attitude.

 

Training:  Infrastructure technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.  The learning provider is Baltic Apprenticeships.

 

Hours: 37.5 hours/week.

 

Pay:  Approx. £7600/year (£3.90/hour).
