The Prince’s Trust Team programme is 12 weeks of varied activities including work experience, qualifications, practical skills, community projects and a residential which will help you to learn new skills, increase motivation and improve confidence.

Although your base will be at Peaks College, you will not be spending all of your time there.  You will be involved in team-building activities, a week long residential trip (enjoying activities such as canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling and much more), a community project and two weeks of work experience during the course.  You will also get support to write a fantastic CV and you’ll get help with job search. The Team Programme can support you to gain the confidence and practical skills to help you to get back into education, training or to find a job.

The next start is September 2020.


Requirements:  Must be 16 – 25 and not in education, employment or training.  You don’t need to have any qualifications or experience to join the programme – everyone is welcome.


Training: The Team Programme will help you to develop your skills, improve your self-confidence and allow you to gain recognised qualification, (Prince’s Trust Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills).


Hours:  12 week programme.  Full time 5 days/week – usually 9.30am start and 3.30pm finish, but can vary.

Incentives:  Free programme that does not affect your benefits.  You can apply for Student Support and if you are entitled to this you can get help towards a bus pass.
