SWFC Community Programme are recruiting for a brand new 13 week Traineeship, which will help you to gain numerous skills and could help you to secure employment opportunities in the future.  Traineeships give you the opportunity to attend a training programme at SWFC, where you will gain crucial employability and work related skills with qualified assessors.  In addition, you will gain valuable work experience on a placement with a professional football club or with an employer in South Yorkshire, understanding and developing your skills in a work environment.

The start date is October 2018.

 

Requirements:  Must be aged 16 – 24 and not in employment, education or training. Must not yet have achieved a full level 3 qualification, equivalent to 2 or more ‘A’ Level passes, Must have a  ‘reasonable chance’ of being ready for employment or an apprenticeship within 6 months of starting the traineeship.

 

Training: All learners will gain work preparation skills including CV writing, interview preparation and techniques, confidence building, teamwork skills. Learners without GCSE grade C or above in maths and/or English will study Functional Skills in maths and English with the chance to gain up to Level 2.   All learners will gain a minimum of 100 hours of work experience on placement with employers in Sheffield.  SWFC are working with a range of different employers, as they want to match trainees to the right placement.  19 – 24 year old trainees will have the option to achieve a qualification in Customer Services at Level 1.

 

Hours:  13 week programme.  Hours will depend upon your individual programme.

 

Incentives:    Free programme.  Bursary available to eligible learners (please discuss with SWFC Community Programme).
