We are offering this exciting opportunity as a part of the Department of Work and Pensions’ Kickstart scheme for a candidate to join our Communications and Marketing Team for a fixed term period of six months.
As a Kickstart Communications Assistant, you will support the Communications and Marketing team to deliver Sheffield Futures’ communications and marketing strategy to support business objectives and build our profile and awareness with target audiences. This role will also involve producing written communications for a range of audiences including web copy, social media content and more.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital media and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also have excellent accuracy and attention to detail and a working knowledge of Windows packages, good IT skills and an ability to communicate a range of sensitive matters. The candidate will also need the ability to work on own initiative, but also to work closely with the Communications and Marketing Coordinator as required. having achieved GCSEs in English Language and Literature at Grade 6-9 (or A-B) is essential.
This role requires a basic DBS check.
