Learn how to deliver ‘Linked up’ – a 6 week Domestic Abuse in Teenage Relationships programme

Help reduce domestic abuse in teenage relationships by undertaking our full-day staff training session and learn how to deliver a 6-week programme directly to young people at risk.

The ‘Linked Up’ programme was originally created by Sheffield Futures, through funding by the Department for Education, to raise awareness of peer on peer abuse and domestic abuse.

To extend the reach of the programme we’ve developed a CPD certified training course to enable other professionals to deliver the programme with the young people you work with.

The aim is to raise awareness of peer-on-peer abuse and domestic abuse, focussing on the experience for young people and the additional barriers they face.

Domestic Abuse in this group is even more hidden for a number of reasons, which are explored in the training.

‘We just had a meeting with the team and their feedback on the training was extremely positive so thank you so much for that’    (Children’s Home Manager, Pathway Care Residential)

Linked Up is an adaptable 6 week group programme for young people which uses fictional characters and scenarios to raise awareness and discussion around Domestic abuse, Peer on Peer abuse and Healthy relationships. Sessions include:

This full-day course is interactive and activity based. Designed to support staff and young people in schools, residential settings, social care, amongst others, to identify signs and risk factors and to enable young people to be better informed, to make healthier choices and know where to access support.
