How to define Professional Boundaries when working with young people

Building trust and mutual respect in working relationships is key, but how do we do this and maintain the healthy boundaries that protect the young people we work with and ensure that we can deliver a quality service in a caring way?

What are our duties? Why do we need them? Who is responsible for setting boundaries? Recognising the power balance in working relationships is part of this process and informs good practice.

This course is for any organisation who wants to increase their knowledge of Professional Boundaries and to explore the professional/client relationship. This is done through interactive activities, group discussion and feedback. It offers an excellent opportunity to look at effective and safe ways of working.

Training is a full day 10-3.30pm and includes refreshments and lunch and is limited to 14 places per session.
