Doing Good Business (DGB) is an enterprise support project for people who are unemployed and unable to begin employment for different reasons. The project aims to support these people, specifically those with physical or mental health disabilities, and those over 50, to move closer to the labour market, through employment, self-employment or training.
DGB is funded through the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
The project launched in October 2016 and will run until July 2021 across the Sheffield City Region (SCR) which covers Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Bolsover, Bassetlaw, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire.
