Have you left School or College? are aged 16-18 years old and Not in Education, Employment or Training?

Then Sheffield Futures can help you by providing information and advice on:

  • Employability support i.e. application forms, CV’s and  interview techniques
  • Apprenticeships
  • Work-Based Learning opportunities
  • Vacancies
  • Benefits  Advice for Under 18’s

We can offer you a drop-in service at Star House – just call into Star House any weekday between these times:  Mon – Thurs: 9.00am-5.00pm; and Fridays: 10.00am-4.00pm.  Please ring first to check availability.

In addition:

MONDAY 

  • Adult Job Club (for adults 19+) 10am – 1pm at Star House, 43 Division St, S1 4GE
  • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Drop in Sessions for 14-24 year olds – 4pm – 6pm on a Monday. We can offer support with enrolling, activity choices and recording your Duke of Edinburgh award. Call 0114 201 201 2804 for an appointment at Star House any weekday between these times: Mon – Thurs: 9am-5pm; or attend the drop in session 4-6pm on a Monday.

TUESDAY 

  • Adult Job Club (for adults 19+) 10am – 1pm at Star House, 43 Division St, S1 4GE
  • Sexual Health Clinic for Young People, with Youth Worker 3.30pm – 5.30pm (Emergency contraception, contraceptive pills, STI screening, info and advice, pregnancy testing and condoms) (NB: Please ring 201 2800 to check this is running, alternatively please use the service at the Hallamshire Hospital – Tel 2268888).
  • Door43 Wellbeing Café 5pm to 7pm. Door43 is a new Youth Information, Advice & Counselling Service (YIACS) based at Sheffield Futures. We offer holistic emotional wellbeing support for young people aged 13-25 in Sheffield. ®

WEDNESDAY 

  • Adult Job Club (for adults 19+) 10am – 1pm at Star House, 43 Division St, S1 4GE

 

FRIDAY

 

SATURDAY 27th

  • Sexual Health Drop-in for Young People with Youth Worker 9.30 – 12.30pm (STI screening, info and advice, pregnancy testing and condoms). (NB: Please ring to confirm this is running)
  • Alternatively there is a Saturday Clinic at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital running 10.00am-12.30pm, both walk in slots and appointments are available. Their telephone number is (0114) 226 8888. (Emergency contraception, contraceptive pills, STI screening, info and advice, pregnancy testing and condoms)
