Jasmine’s Story
When Jasmine was first referred to Social Prescribing by her GP, she was facing several challenges. She was experiencing anger, anxiety, low mood, and low self-esteem, alongside difficulties both at home and at school. She wasn’t attending school, wasn’t socialising, and wasn’t taking part in any activities, which meant she was rarely leaving the house at all.
Katie’s Story
My name is Katie, and I’m 19 years old. I came from a place where I never really believed in myself, and didn’t think it was possible to. I struggled with anxiety, and was put onto medication for depression, I was then put on the waiting list for Sheffield Futures. I had to wait a few months, but it was definitely worth it.

Ruby’s Story
When Ruby came into the Ambitions project, she told us she lacked motivation. She’d been out of work and education for a while and had lost any sense of structure or routine to her day. She hoped that getting back into some form of education or training would provide her with this structure, and that this in turn would help with her mental health.
