Services we offer

We can help you make documents, products and services appeal to and engage young people. Services and businesses work with us to get a young person’s perspective on their ideas and we provide honest feedback. From removing jargon in leaflets to offering advice around young people’s priorities and interests; we are young people ourselves and therefore the experts you need!

We can offer training around how to make your service or business more youth friendly. We can offer tips on tailoring your work to appeal to young people and handy hints for how best to use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media.

If your meeting is about young people or how the outcomes of it will effect and involve young people, we can support you in a professional manner to make decisions that are best for you, your organisation and for young people.

Having Sheffield Young Advisors conduct consultations and research for your organisation is a useful tool as we can successfully approach young people to share their views; we are young people too so they are willing to open up to us and are confident to tell us their honest opinions.

If you want an event for young people, about young people or involving young people then make us your first point of call. We’ll work closely with you to organise an event to meet your aims with a youth focus.

We are confident, experienced public speakers and provide an authentic portrayal of young people’s views. We are trained in delivering presentations to both young people and professionals.

Are you recruiting for a job where the employee will work with young people? A candidate may have all the best qualifications for the job, but this will not help if they are not young people friendly. The young advisors will provide you with a young people’s perspective on the candidates. We will pick out key traits and skills in the interviewees that will help when working with young people, and also suggest areas of concern.
