Placing Faces Joins Sheffield Futures as a Charity Partner for 2025

We are thrilled to officially announce our partnership with Placing Faces, a local recruitment company who have chosen to support Sheffield Futures this year.

"When we were looking for a charity to partner with, we had two main boxes we wanted to tick. First, it had to be local - we’re proud to be based in Sheffield, so it made sense to support a charity doing great work in our own city. Second, it had to be something that really meant something to all of us. Sheffield Futures ticks both those boxes.

At Placing Faces, yes - we’re a recruitment agency, but our job goes way beyond just finding people a new role. A huge part of what we do is guiding people: helping improve CVs, offering interview tips, or even just pointing them in the right direction. So when we learned more about what Sheffield Futures do - helping young people build confidence, figure out their career path, and take their first steps into working life. Adding the fact that they help young people with their mental health, we instantly felt a connection!

Most of us remember how confusing and overwhelming it was leaving school with little support or guidance. Choosing a path as a young adult is a big deal, and not having the right help can make it even harder. That’s why we think the work Sheffield Futures does is so important - and why we’re supporting them as they celebrate 30 years.

As we celebrate 30 years of being here for Sheffield's young people, Placing Faces will be walking a whopping 30 miles to raise essential funds to support our work. With great energy and determination, Alex, Erin and the whole team at Placing Faces are making a meaningful difference to the lives of local young people. We are truly grateful for their generosity.
