Community Celebration Day 2025
On Thursday 28th August, we proudly opened the doors to Star House to celebrate our 30th birthday! We were thrilled to welcome over 150 guests to celebrate three decades of Sheffield Futures, as well as the incredible organisations across Sheffield who support, empower, and uplift young people every day.

Mental health hub boost as Sheffield Futures secures additional funding for Door 43
Positive funding news for early intervention mental health support comes amidst the launch of a blueprint for Young Futures hubs. Additional funding from the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) will allow Door 43’s Early Support Hub to reach more young people across Sheffield.
Innovative Summer Jobs Programme to tackle youth violence in Sheffield
Sheffield Futures is partnering with UK Youth to deliver The Summer Jobs Programme in Sheffield. Running from July to September 2025, the six-week paid programme aims to combat the barriers that many young people face in gaining employment by offering paid work experience to young people aged 16 to 20.
