Our Strategy 2026-2029

Today we are proud to share our new 2026-2029 strategy: Belong. Grow. Lead.

With a refreshed vision, Sheffield Futures is bringing its 30-year legacy – rich with experience, expertise and knowledge – into a new, exciting era. Over the next three years, we will be strengthening our delivery of open-access early intervention support for young people’s wellbeing, providing platforms to amplify youth voice and action, and building a collaborative community for Sheffield’s young people and youth sector to come together in strength. 

Our strategy is the result of over a year spent listening, learning, and sharing ideas with colleagues, peers, and young people. And it couldn’t come at a better time, for this is a truly significant moment for the youth sector. For the first time in 20 years, there is a national strategy to unite us. Locally, Sheffield’s youth sector has been working hard to co-produce a collective vision through the Sheffield Youth Alliance, and we eagerly anticipate a Sheffield Youth Strategy in the coming months. 

Although we still face notable challenges – as a charity, as a sector, and as a city - we are standing stronger together to face these challenges with renewed determination, creativity and passion.
