Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Worker x 3

Salary: £24,065 p.a. pro rata

Terms: Fixed Term to 31st March 2025

Hours: Part Time 18.5 hours (0.5 FTE)

Are you passionate about supporting young people?  Would you like the opportunity to facilitate and promote an offer of mental health and wellbeing provision for 11-25 year olds as part of a Mental Health Hub? Can you support and assist in the delivery of drop-in and structured group sessions?

We currently have an exciting position in the organisation for a Mental Health and Wellbeing Support Worker to join our committed and outcome focussed team.

About the role

In this role you will assist in the promotion of an offer of mental health and wellbeing provision for 11-25 year olds as part of a Mental Health Hub. You will support the delivery of drop-in and structured group sessions in schools, the community and at Star House, to provide early intervention wellbeing support to children and young people. 

You’ll work closely with schools and community groups.  In addition, you will support the engagement of young people and continuously review and improve the programmes to meet their needs. 

About You

You are experienced in supporting and developing effective drop in and group work programmes and activities that meet the needs of young people using an evidence-based approach. You can build positive and trusting relationships with young people.

As you would expect, an understanding of safeguarding procedures and referral processes will be essential.
